I was horrified today when I saw the #MyTramExperience video.
Her ignorance and language were shocking, especially because she had a young child sat on her lap.

Anyway, that has been rectified now. She has been arrested and Daniel Kirk has created this immense parody video:

Well done, Sir.

  1. fluffrick says:

What blows my mind is that the original video went viral via Twitter, got picked up on blogs and forums and then ended up in that bonehead racist getting arrested.

The next time that somebody tells you that the internet is full of useless rubbish and nonsense, let’s all point to this story.

Run your mouth in public enough now and someone will film it and who knows where things will end…

Poor kid, having a dolt of a mother like that.

  2. Definitely! This really proves the power of social networking, and therefore of our united voices (I didn’t mean that to sound Socialist!)

I do think it’s a shame that the police would NEVER have made any attempt to pursue this case if it hadn’t gone viral. If that video was reported and only had 100 views I’m sure that they wouldn’t have done anything. I really think that they’ve acted so quickly in an attempt to demonstrate that they are an active force, which is a necessary measure after the criticism of their passivity during the London riots.

On the other hand though, if they didn’t act so swiftly then I’m sure they would get eaten alive by the media! Rock and a hard place I guess.

Really feel for the kid too…. he was so oblivious to it all.
